Two university students, Chris Canty and Tom Redmond, started the site in 2004 after their usual happy hour venue stopped offering $5 jugs (those were the days) and they didn't know where to go.

Over the years more people joined us, and some moved on, but the tightarse army remains strong. We became a certified company in 2007, creating TheHappiestHour Pty Ltd. 

We rely on the public and venue owners to keep our listings continually updated so please get involved.
